What your engineer sees

Your engineer opens the app and sees My Day: today’s visits in time order, with hazards flagged at the top.

  1. They tap Accept today’s jobs once, to say they’ve seen the day. You’ll see Day accepted next to their name in the planner.
  2. At each job they tap Start travelling. The customer is emailed that the engineer is on the way.
  3. On arrival they tap I’ve arrived on site. That’s the moment the attend SLA is met.
  4. They take before and after photos, fill in any forms, note the materials used and write a short work summary.
  5. They tap Finish job and answer one question: Is the job complete?
    • Yes: the job moves to Complete.
    • No: they say what’s still needed, and the job moves to Attended for you to sort out.
  6. The customer signs on the phone, and a job report is made and emailed to them.

Every step is time-stamped and shows on the job’s timeline in the office.

That’s the whole loop. From here, read the guide for your role, or carry on with quotes and invoices.
