For the office team
A contract records an agreement to look after a customer’s sites: regular planned visits, faster response times, and reactive work included in the price.
- Open Contracts & PPM and select New contract.
- Find the customer and give the contract a Name, like “Harbour View planned maintenance 2026–27”.
- Set the Start date, End date and Contract value (£).
- Choose Billing: monthly, quarterly, annually, or not billed by instalment.
- Choose Renewal: renewed by the office, or renews automatically.
- Under Reactive work covered, tick what the contract pays for: Call-out, Labour, Parts.
- Tick the Sites it covers.
- Select Create draft.
The contract starts as a Draft, so you can add maintenance plans and SLA targets before anything happens.
