# Find anything with search

Search customers, sites, contacts and equipment by name, reference, postcode, email or serial number.

Use the search box at the top of every screen, or press **Ctrl K** (**⌘ K** on a Mac).

Type at least two characters. You can search by:

- name or reference, like "Harbour View" or "CUS-000012",
- postcode, with or without the space,
- email or phone number,
- an asset's serial number.

Results are grouped into **Customers**, **Sites**, **Contacts** and **Assets**. Use the arrow keys and **Enter** to open one.

To find a job, use the search on the **Jobs** page instead: it searches references, summaries, customers and sites.
