# What the customer sees

The page your customer opens from the quote email: the quote, optional extras, and how they accept or decline.

The email has the quote as a PDF and a link to a page showing **Quotation from** your company.

On that page they can:

- read the lines and the **Total inc. VAT**,
- tick any **Optional extras** they'd like added, and see the new total,
- **Download PDF**,
- select **Accept quote**: they enter **Your name**, add **Your order number** if they have one, sign, and tick **I accept this quote and its terms.**,
- or select **Decline** and tell you why.

They never see your costs or margins.

## When the link stops working

The link closes when the quote is accepted, declined, expires, is cancelled or replaced by a new version. The page then says so and asks them to use your latest email or call you.
