# An engineer can't see a job

Why a visit isn't showing on an engineer's phone, and the four things to check in the planner.

1. **Is the visit sent?** A visit shows on the phone only once it's dispatched. If it says **Scheduled** in the planner, send it with **Dispatch day** or from the visit's menu.
2. **Is it for today?** **My Day** shows today. Other visits are under **Upcoming** in the app.
3. **Are they on it?** Open the visit and check they're one of the **Engineers**.
4. **Is their account an engineer?** In **Settings → Users**, their type should be **Engineer (mobile app)**.

If all four are right, ask them to pull down on **My Day** to refresh, or sign out and back in.
